Track Sizes

Careful consideration of the current passing through the track needs to be made prior to determining the track size. Minimum Track Width: 10 mil
Minimum Track Clearance: 10 mil

Pad Sizes

PCB ManufacturePad sizes are determined by the size of the lead or device to be inserted in the hole, the larger the device leg the larger the pad, this will secure the device and prevent damage to the board or trackes if the device is moved while fixed to the board.

General Questions About Cloning Service

  • Is it safe to send payment to MikaTech ?

If MikaTech was a bad company, you could find tons of bad reputations about its service on the internet over the 28 years history

So, the answer is YES! We are good people.

Why choose Mikatech, please click here to find out

  • Can Mikatech break ics not listed on this site ?

Different chip manufacturers have different part numbers, but the inner core of the chip can be make with same technology, it would be quite impossible to list all the part numbers where our technology can apply such as MYSON, STK, FEELING, ANALOG, FUJITSU, NOVATEK, LG/HYNDAI.

Also by the advancing of the technology, everyday we gain more and more experience and develope new methods for reverse engineering for different Intergated Circuit parts. Full list of Integrated Circuit part numbers which is within our scope of capability is always getting bigger, please contact us to find out.

  • Will my privacy be protected ?

Mikatech Innovative Limited understands the importance of its clients' privacy. At the moment you contact Mikatech, the personal information from you will be put under protection by our management regulations which was developed by our years of practice, Mikatech uses these information to customize its service to you, it will never disclose these information to third party out of any reason.
Every project we did, we will delete all the data, materials, and codes 60days after deliverig the files, it iwll protect us and protect your privacy.

  • Is it legal to get service from Mikatech ?

    Yes, it is totally legal.
Mikatech deliver its reverse engineering services for educational purposes only, it can be illegal to use above mentioned services in some coutries or regions, please check your local laws. • What is PCB Clone Techniques and Benefits ?

    PCB Clone Techniques and Benefits

PCB cloning, also known as PCB reverse engineering, is a multi-step process that recreates the design files (schematics, Gerber files, and Bill of Materials) from a physical circuit board.

    1. Preparation & Documentation

    • Cleaning: The PCB is thoroughly cleaned to remove dust and debris for accurate analysis.
    • Visual Inspection & Photography: High-resolution, 1:1 scale photographs are taken of both sides of the board. These images serve as the primary reference for component placement and trace routing.
    • Component Documentation: The model, parameters, and position of every component (diodes, transistors, ICs, etc.) are meticulously recorded.

    2. Component Removal & Layer Separation

    • Non-Destructive Desoldering: Components are carefully removed using soldering/desoldering tools to preserve them and reveal the traces underneath.
    • Destructive Layer Sanding (for multi-layer boards): For complex boards with four or more layers, layers may be physically ground down to expose and image the internal traces. This method is destructive but can be necessary.
    • X-ray & CT Scanning (Advanced): For a non-destructive alternative, X-ray or CT scanning can be used to capture the internal layer structures of a multi-layer PCB.

    3. Scanning & Imaging

    • Industrial Scanning: The bare board (after component removal) is scanned using a high-resolution industrial scanner to create a precise image of the copper traces.
    • Layer-Specific Scanning: For multi-layer boards, this process is repeated for every layer to capture all copper trace patterns.

    4. Digital Recreation (Software & CAD)

    • Image Processing: The scanned images are imported into PCB design software (like Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
    • Trace Routing & Schematic Capture: Engineers use the scanned images as a template, drawing over the traces to recreate the digital layout and generate a netlist—a map of all component connections.
    • Schematic & BOM Creation: From the mapped traces, a readable circuit schematic is created, and a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) is generated, listing all components and their specifications.

    5. Prototyping & Validation

    • Gerber File Generation: The final design files (Gerbers) are produced for manufacturing.
    • Prototyping & Testing: A small-batch prototype is manufactured and tested to ensure its functionality is identical to the original. Techniques like flying probe testing verify electrical connections and performance.

    Advantages of PCB Cloning

    • Legacy Product Support – Enables reproduction of obsolete or discontinued PCBs, extending the life of critical systems where the original manufacturer no longer provides support or spare parts.
    • Cost-Effectiveness – Significantly reduces development costs by eliminating the need for a complete new design, extensive prototyping, and lengthy testing cycles from scratch.
    • Time Savings – Drastically shortens time‑to‑market by leveraging an existing, proven design, allowing faster product launches or replacements.
    • Consistency & Quality – Replicating a successful, field‑tested design ensures consistent performance and reliability, which is especially valuable for large‑scale production.
    • Customization & Optimization – Provides a solid foundation for redesign. It allows component substitution (e.g., replacing expensive parts with cheaper or more available alternatives), performance upgrades, and design improvements without starting from zero.
    • Competitive Analysis – Allows studying competitor products to understand their technical benchmarks, design choices, and potential weaknesses, aiding in strategic product development.
    • Recovery of Lost Data – A practical solution for recovering design files that have been lost, corrupted, or are incomplete, ensuring that a project can continue without full redesign.
